Our mosen is an essential item at shrines, temples and wedding halls in Japan.It is also widely used at various meetings, tea ceremonies, stages, wedding ceremonies, Haiku meetings, Noh recitations, etc.

Mosen has long been used as an auspicial carpet.In the Nara period, the carpets with beautiful patterns were sent from Tang China and they are still preserved at Shosoin in Japan.
